John J. Robbins, 75 of Corinth passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. A Celebration of John’s Life is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 5:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 3:30pm until 5:00pm at the funeral home. John was born February 6, 1942 in Rienzi, MS and was a retired foreman for King Manufacturing for over 30 years. He is a member of Oakland Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, working on cars, spending time with his grandchildren and going places with the love of his life, Mary. Survivors include his son: Jeffery J. Robbins and wife Sherri of Corinth: daughters: Angela Spencer and husband Danny Earl of Corinth, MS – Jeannette Wood and husband Randy of Corinth; 7 grandchildren: Allen Robbins, Ashley Thrasher and husband Jesse, Mary Frances Robbins, A. J. Robbins, Brad Robbins and wife Chalet, Chris Malone and wife Misty, Cody Malone and wife Natasha; 11 great grandchildren: John Hayden Robbins, Hank Robbins, Caroline Robbins, Landry Dillman, Brandon Cole, Huck Thrasher, Breck Harden Thrasher, Landyn Malone, Grayson Malone, Lyric Stricklen, Lexxie Malone; brother: Jimmy Robbins and wife Nelda of Rienzi, MS ; sisters: Shirley Rorie of Brandon, MS ; Ola Mitchell of GA.; Helen Gray and husband Jimmy of Adamsville, TN; Beatrice Rorie and husband Richard of Rienzi, MS ; Mary Spencer of Corinth, MS ; Reatha Spencer and husband Jimmy of Corinth, MS ; Leatha Womble of Corinth, MS ; Sarah Whittemore of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years: Mary Nell Robbins; father: Hulet Robbins; mother: Minnie Parker Robbins: brother: William Henry Robbins: sisters: Susie Killough, Joyce Killough and Roxie Burcham. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Bro. Chris Aday will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. John J. Robbins.
