John Henry Joiner, Jr. of Rogersville died Saturday, January 04, 2014 at his residence at the age of 74.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 – 2 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Ronnie Jones and Wendell White officiating. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Kendall Phillips, Jebby Neese, Jeremy Grisham, Jeremy Word, Chris Simmons, Jonathan Cannon and Corey Cox; honorary, Robert Baugher, B.H. Parker, Larry Gautney and Bill Steen.
Mr. Joiner was preceded in death by his parents, John & Georgia Joiner and brother, Bobby Edward Joiner. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Shelby Joiner; children, Belinda (Kenneth) Phillips, Lorrie (James) Baker, Bonita (Barry) Grisham and Chris (April) Joiner; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Baugher and Robbie Hamby; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
