John Dale Patterson, 82, of Ardmore, TN passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 with his daughter at his side. He was born May 1 ,1944. Dale was a farmer, both dairy and row crops, throughout his life. He loved his farm, his family, his dog, and fast cars.
Dale is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Donna Bryant Patterson. He is also preceded in death by his parents, John Patterson and Louise Patterson Stewart and step-father Walter “Jr” Stewart; sister Velvie Pack, sister and brother-in-law Geneva and Babe Heard, brother and sister-in-law J.W. and Carol Patterson, sister-in-law Barbara Patterson, brother-in-law Tim Bryant and sister-in-law Rita Owens.
He is survived by his daughters Stephanie Patterson and Nikki (Bill) Reuter; grandsons Elijah and Noah Reuter; brothers Diemer (Robbie) Patterson, Donnie (Debbie) Patterson, Lester (Sandra) Patterson, Oliver Patterson; sister Linda (Johnny) Furline; brother-in-law Pee Wee Pack, brother-in-law Jackie Owens, brother-in-law Aaron (Nancy) Bryant; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lincoln Home Health and Hospice, Southern Tennessee Hospital Pulaski, and EIk River Ardmore for their care and support of both Dale and the family over the past 6 months.
