John Carlin Allen, Jr, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2020 at his home in Monteagle, TN after a battle with cancer. Known as JC, he was born on September 16th, 1933 in NY, NY. He is survived by his loving wife Winona R. Allen, a brother, Preston R. Allen of Maitland, FL and three daughters: Tibby Keane (John) of Sea Girt, NJ, Laird Almy (Sean) of Woodstock, GA and Kimberly (KJ) (Michael) Carvalho of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. He is also survived by his stepson Chip (Liz) Schane of Sewanee, TN and seven grandchildren. JC is a graduate of The Hill School in Pottstown, PA and the University of Colorado Boulder. His business career included heading the computer departments in several Wall Street firms before striking out on his own to launch computer businesses in Connecticut.
