John Calvin (J.C.) Martin of Waynesboro, TN was born January 26, 1930 in Collinwood, TN, the son of the late Harvey and Omie Dixon Martin. Mr. Martin was a retired factory worker and departed this life Monday, November 20, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 9 Months, 25 Days.
He is survived by a son, Randy Martin, Fort Smith, AR; daughters, Joyce Hays, husband, Ronald and Penny Kizziar, husband, Guy all of Alma, AR, Sharon Fisher, husband, Charles, Booneville, AR; brothers, Harvey Earl Martin, Collinwood, TN, Jimmy Martin, Iron City, TN; 23 grandchildren, 68 great- grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Services will be Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Church, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Daniel Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 5-8 pm, Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 5-8 pm and Friday, November 24, 2017 from 9-11 am at the church.
