John C. Sparks age 89 of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Friday, July 01, 2016. A private graveside service was held Sunday, July 03, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Ricky Zane officiated.
Mr. Sparks was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Ueura Sparks, son: Bobby Sparks, brother: Wayne Sparks and a sister Lorene Benson.
Survivors are his wife of 66 wonderful years, Maxine Sparks, son: Jimmy Sparks (Sharon), 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of loving siblings, nieces nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Mr. Sparks retired from Reynolds Metals Reduction Plant after 23 years of loyal service. John was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII.
