John Allen Huggins, 72, of Rogersville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015. He was a native of Oxford, Mississippi, moved to the Wichita, Kansas, area where he worked for Boeing/Spirit for 32 years. Recently, he moved to Rogersville after retiring to be closer to his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, from 6–8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Aaron Andrews and Bert Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen Huggins, Roddie Stewart, George Williams, James Tackett, Ronnie Howard, Dewayne Bradford, Aric Butler and Richard Graham.
Mr. Huggins was preceded in death by his parents, Y.C. and Stella Mae Huggins; sister, Stella Eugenia Huggins; and father-in-law, Guy H. Baird. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diann Huggins; sons, Jeff (Jody) Huggins, of Florence, Alabama, Derek (Amber) Huggins, of Franklin, Kentucky, and Daniel (Kristy) Huggins, of Athens, Alabama; grandchildren, Allen, Katie, Cameron, Lyla, Cecilia and Brelyn; sister, Patricia Huggins, of Oxford, Mississippi; and mother-in-law, Audrey Mae Baird of Ft. Worth, Texas.
