Funeral service for Mr. John A. Glasscock, 98, of Hartselle, AL will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM.
Mr. Glasscock passed away at home on March 27, 2025. He was born on January 20, 1927 in Morgan County, AL. He was an airplane and engine mechanic in the Air Force in his early years and was a World War II vet. He flew airplanes his entire life and was a crop duster and worked at Wolverine Tube. He loved motorcycles and rode his until age 88! He was a big Alabama football fan, loved his family very much and was a member of Hartselle Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Barbara Hale Glasscock, a son, John Hopkins, his parents, brothers, Asa Woodrow Glasscock and Major Trumen Gregory Glasscock, and sisters, Gerdys L. Glasscock Wilson, Eloise Glasscock, Mary Elise Glasscock Summers and Marguarett Ann Glasscock.
