A Celebration of Life for Joe Ray Boutwell, 68, of Decatur, will be Sunday, July 2, 2017, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the River City Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Mr. Boutwell, who died Friday, June 23, 2017, in Decatur, was born Dec. 2, 1948, in Morgan County, to Lonnie Gene Boutwell, Sr. and Ruby Pridmore Boutwell. He was highly respected by his family, friends, and community, and never failed to make everyone smile.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Allen Boutwell; two sons, Richard Boutwell (Rebecca) of Decatur and Joseph P. Boutwell (Kristie) of Hartselle; one daughter, Christie Leshea Locke (Jon) of Decatur; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
