Joe Edwards, 58, Russellville, fought his final battle with cancer at his residence surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 21, 2014,
Joe was a retired electrician. He worked for Sutton Electric for many years before opening B.J. Electric. He was born March 05, 1956 to J.B. & Betty Edwards. Joe loved playing his guitar and singing. Today he is singing with the angels in Heaven.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Bethlehem Church, Russellville, with the body lying in state one hour prior the service. Officiating will be Bro. Edward LouAllen and Dick Hasheider. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery
He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Brenda Edwards, Helen Sue Blankenship; brothers Danny Edwards and Darryle Edwards.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Edwards; daughters, Tanya Tiggs (husband, B.B.), Ashley Edwards; step-daughters, Jessica Hardcastle (husband, Thomas), Vanessa Ornsbey (husband, Jackey), Linda Newburn (husband, Chris); ten grandsons, Dylan Bonner, Will Bonner, Collin Bonner, Cade Edwards, Bobby Hardcastle, Braden Hardcastle, Braxton Hardcastle, Ethan Sherman, Conner Sherman, Camden McCrary; one granddaughter, Bella Hardcastle; his beloved dog, Scooter; brother, Terry Edwards (wife, Pat); sister, Sheila Whiting (husband, Robert); the mother of his children, Sheila Edwards; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The pallbearers will be his nephews and great-nephews.
