billyBilly Edward Hanback, native of Alabama, resident of Swartz Creek, Michigan, passed away at the age of 72 on Sunday Oct. 19, 2014, at McLaren Hospital in Flint, Michigan. The services will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Rd., Flint, Michigan, today at 11 a.m. Paul Holland, of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ, will be officiating the services.

Burial services will held in Florence, Alabama at the Cloverdale Church of Christ, 13000 Hwy 157, Florence, Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014. Viewing will be from noon-2 p.m. with services immediately following. Jerry Campbell is officiating.

Pallbears will include grandsons, Brandon Nagel, Stephen Ruggs, and Kyle Culver and nephews, Chuck Rhodes, David Hanback, and Eddie Hanback.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Purser, father, Grady Everett Hanback, brother, Clyde Ellis Hanback, and seven deceased half brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Hanback, of 52 years; his daughters, Pamela Kurzatkowski, Renee Nagel, Angela Hanback, and Karen Petke; grandchildren, Stacey Ruggs, Brandon Nagel, Brittany Nagel, Stephen Ruggs, Elisha Nagel, Megan Kurzatkowski, Kayleigh Culver, Kyle Culver, and Kenni Petke;

great-grandchildren, Karmon, Hayden, Abigail, and Kendall;

niece, Marie Johnson; and five surviving half siblings.
