Joe D. Cardwell, 56, Hazel Green, passed away Thursday. He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. Cardwell; three sisters, Mary Sutton, Sheila Haire and Virginia Morals; three brothers, Ernest Cardwell, Randy Cardwell and James Cardwell; eight step children; and many nieces and nephews, and a number of grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday at 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. A chapel service will be Tuesdsay at 4:00 p.m. Berryhill Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
