Joanna Danielle Blankenship, 21 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Mrs. Blankenship was born August 10, 1999 to Danny Joe Blankenship and Melissa Carol Winsett Blankenship.
Joanna was a loving mother. She loved being a country girl and playing with her nieces and nephews. She was a very loving and kindhearted person.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Wayne Kent officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Reunion Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Lane Bryant Blankenship; mother, Melissa Blankenship; sisters, Kayla Blankenship Dempsey (Jason) and Tabitha Blankenship Taylor (Kyle); grandmother, Mary Jane Blankenship; 6 nephews; 1 niece; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by her father; grandfather, Billy Joe Blankenship; grandmother, Carolyn Blankenship; grandfather, Big Al Blankenship.
Pallbearers are Austin Ramsey, Brandon Edwards, Kenny Taylor, Trevor Conley, Cortez Shoulders, J.D. Gatlin and Keith Gatlin.
