Joann Hobbs Ethridge, age 74 of Hazel Green, passed away Friday at home. She was a member of Home Mission Baptist Church and retired from Coca Cola Bottling in Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Thelma Hobbs, brother Edward Hobbs, sister Faye Bryant, and granddaughter Constance Jones.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Ethridge; 3 children Roxann Jones and husband Bubba, Teresa Donahue and husband Tim and Sherry Atkinson; grandchildren Crystal Hastings, Joshua Holladay, Thomas Eaton and Candias Jones; great grandchildren Exavier Eaton, Logan Joiner and Skylar Joiner; brothers and sisters Billy Ray Hobbs, Jimmy Hobbs and Patsy Ann Osmer.
Arrangements are entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will received friends on Sunday, April 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, April 20th at 1:00 p.m. at the Spry Chapel. Burial will follow at Charity Cemetery in Hazel Green.
