Jo Kathren King, age 88, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Jo Kathren was a faithful member of Belgreen Church of Christ. She was a kind and caring lady who loved her family very much. She leaves many precious memories that her family will cherish.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 70 years, William Cleophis King; daughter, Carol Ann King Humphres (Phillip); favorite grand-dog, Dottie Belle; brother& sister-in-law, Donald & Brenda King; nieces & nephew, Paula Britnell, Ronald Henry, Linda Stone, Skylar King, and Amber Willis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade & Bertha Mae (Gober) Glasgow; sister, Sarah Carylon Glasgow Horton; and nephew, Billy Wade Horton.
The visitation will be 2:30 – 4:30 pm. Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The service will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Terry Benton officiating the service. The burial will be at Mt. Home Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Gary Hargett, Ronald Henry, James Guinn, and Frankie Taylor.

Also, a special thanks to the Arabella Nursing Home & Rehab and all of its staff and Helen Keller Hospital 3rd floor staff, especially Josh. We also want to extend special thanks to Hospice of the Shoals, with special thanks to Grace and Candice, Dr. Karr and his special staff, and Dr. Maynord and his special staff. We also want to thank our friends in the Belgreen Community for all the prayers, food, visits, cards, and care.
