Danny Carl Smith, age 70, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at his residence.
Danny and his brothers and sisters grew up in the Isbell Community. He was a devoted Alabama fan, Roll Tide, and at one time, he owned the Russellville Pool Hall. Later years, he enjoyed working at Russellville Skateland and being around all of the kids.
He is survived by his children, Shawn Smith (Jessica), Crystal Smith, Daniel Smith (Paige Kimbrough), Eric Flannagan; grandchildren, Kalen Smith, Tristen Smith (Paige), Gracie Smith, Taylor Flannagan, Haley Flannagan, 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Russell (Bruce), Stanley Smith, Bobby Joe Smith, Ray Smith, and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee & Mattie Louise (Hargett) Smith and sister, Rebecca Diane Smith.
A family service will be held at a later time.
