Jo Dale Fooshee, 97, of Madison, AL passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024. The service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, located at 228 Mt. Zion Rd. Huntsville, Al, 35806. Visitation will be prior from 12:00 – 1:00. Jo was a secretary for many years in local industry as well as at Mt. Zion church towards the end of her career. She loved to cook and fish but her favorite things to do were serving God and taking care of her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Hansel C. Fooshee, parents Joe and Lora Bray, brother La Joyce Bray, and sister Laverne Bray. She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Wheat (James), son Doug Fooshee (Kandice), grandchildren Clint Powell (Natasha), Carmon Murphy (Shannon) and Lexi Fooshee, great grandchildren Caitlyn Forrester (Jamie) Chandler Powell, Caralyne Powell, Calee Powell, Tyler Murphy, McKenzie Murphy, Molly Jo Murphy and Tucker Murphy, In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or charity of your choice.
