Mrs. Jo Ann Moncher, age 91, passed away early Sunday in Jackson. She was born January 23, 1934 in Coatesville, PA to the late James Floyd and Gertrude Lease Patton. She was a retired LPN and Producer for ITT Telecommunications. She loved flowers and gardening and was lovingly known as “Grandma Jo” to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Paul Moncher; one son, Robert Williams; her brother, Tucker Patton and one sister, Jackie Swafford.
Survivors include her son, Wade Williams; two daughters, Joy Chumney and Kay Blankenship (Mike Krueger); two sisters, Dorothy James and Glenna Grissom; eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 3 – 8 PM and on Wednesday, 9 – 11 AM.
