Edward J. Cagle, age 83, Moreland Community passed away Sunday June 1, 2025. He attended Church of the Forest. and was a retired Poultry Farmer.
His visitation will be Saturday June 7, 2025 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at New Home Baptist Church in the Moreland Community. Funeral service at 1:00PM at the church, with Tim Harris officiating. Burial to follow in Moreland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Raye Wakefield Cagle; children, Tammie Canerday, (her husband Kyle),
Edward Keith Cagle (His wife Mischelle) and Olan Bradley Cagle (Tina Winkles); 8 grandchildren, Ivory Hazel (her husband Ryan), Isaac Edward Cagle, Ila Cagle (Justin Simon), Levi Cagle (his wife Kim), Cierra Conner, Grace Nadine (her husband Jared), Austin Winkles (his wife Hannah) and Amanda Brown (her husband Andrew); 9 great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Newman Cagle and Cora Lee Clark Cagle; brothers, William E. Cagle and James “Monk” Cagle.
