Jimmy Wayne Wright, 77, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Huntsville.
Born on October 31, 1947, in Madison County, Alabama to Marvin Russel Wright and Bonnie (Davis) Wright.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Gail Usrey Wright; his two daughters, Kimberly Wright-Smith (Adam), Kelley Smith; three stepsons, TJ Waldron (Leslie), Kyle Waldron (Miranda) and Brandon Waldron (Alma); grandchildren, Owen Smith, Grayson and Axel Waldron, Hannah and Hailey Waldron and Ashley Wisby; two sisters, Rosemary Hughes (W.T.) and Sandy Tart; three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Danny Wright, late wife Dovie Lynn (Petty) Wright and business partner Robert (Bob) Heath.
Wayne was a devoted husband, father and PawPaw with a generous heart. His favorite past time was spending the day on the lake on his boat with family and friends.
Wayne will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved and knew him.
Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2025 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
