Jimmy Wayne Chance – Obituary

Rev. Jimmy Wayne Chance, age 75 of Quinton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 18, 2016. He was a Minister for many years including pastoring Snowtown Praise and Worship for close to 18 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family, loved being around people, and had a passion for helping everyone.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Freewill Cemetery in West Jefferson. Rev. Gene Smith and Rev. Monte A. Horton will officiate.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12 to 2 pm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Jeanette Chance; baby brother, Johnny Ray Chance.
He was survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Chance; sons, James Chance and Chris Chance and wife, Fleming; grandchildren, Grayson, Townsend, and Charlotte Chance; sister, Sue McDaniel (Edwin); and a host of nieces and nephews, other family, and many friends.
