A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Jimmy Vaughn Gordon, age 60 of Anniston, will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Oxford Lake, Pavilion #11, Oxford, Alabama, with Brother Jackie Lee officiating. Mr. Gordon passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Gordon; daughters, Amanda (Chris) Brown, Olivia Bays, and Alisha (Tee) Smith; grandchildren, Savanna Bailey, Tori Wittekind, and Tyler Bays; and siblings, Catherine (Bob) Williams, James Gordon, Gail Fuller, and Stanley Gordon.
Jimmy was an avid street rod / hot rod builder and was the best mechanic in the area. His life revolved around cars, especially Fords. He enjoyed car shows and swap meets.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any street rodders please bring your cars to the Celebration of Life in honor of Jimmy.
