Jimmy T. Sparks, age 83, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, April 02, 2025, at his residence.
Jimmy was born Sunday, June 01, 1941, in Franklin County. He proudly served his nation in the U.S. Air Force. He worked and retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a longtime member of Centerview Church of Christ and was a current member of Eastside Church of Christ.
He is survived by his daughter, Patty Sparks; granddaughter, Heather Hutto; great-grandchildren, Bailey Hutto, Braxton Hutto; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne Sparks; granddaughter, Stacey Danielle Sparks; his parents, Daniel Owen & Annie (Willis) Sparks; his brothers, Billy Sparks and Norris Sparks; and sister, Mary Ann Sparks Fulmer.
The visitation will 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 06, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 07, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Miller and Bro. Frank Richey officiating the service. The burial will be at Sparks Cemetery in Russellville with military honors.
The pallbearers will be members of the American Legion. The honorary pallbearers will be Stefan Sparks, Kirk Sparks, Jr. Willingham, Buddy Washington, Owen Washington, Brandon Sparks, and Braxton Hutto.
