Funeral service for Jimmy “Shorty” Jones, 71, will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Fanning officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones died on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1942, in Lawrence County to James Edward Jones, Sr. and Earline Brown. He was a former employee of General Motors (Delphi Corporation) as a jobsetter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
