Jimmy Ray Mayville Jimmy Ray Mayville of Goodspring, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 28th, 2024 at Southern Tennessee Regional Pulaski. He was born on January 8th, 1940 in Mount Vernon, Indiana and was 84 years old.

Jimmy was a full-blooded Indian (Cherokee & Choctaw), He loved being outside, hunting, fishing, raising gardens and fruit trees. Jimmy also loved horses, country music, smoking his cigarettes, and drinking his coffee all day long. There was nothing he couldn’t do. Jimmy was a dedicated laborer and a multitalented craftsman he worked well with his hands making handmade knives, bow and arrows and he also enjoyed shooting guns and was a great carpenter.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th,2024 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 5th,2024 at 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Jimmy was preceded in death by, his parents, wife Mary Agnes Smith, wife Myra Avis Sue Mayville, sisters Lois Cynthia and Martha Sue, brother Steven L Mayville.
He is survived by,

Daughter, Barbara (Edward) Figueroa of Crestview, FL
Daughter, Brenda (Michael) Tomerlin of Goodspring, TN
Brother, Earl Arthur Mayville of St. Louis, MO
Brother, George Raymond of Wynne, AR
Sister, Helen Odell Teaue of Trueman, AR
Sister, Judy Loxley of Dover, AR
Brother, Charles Jr. Hendrix of Harrisburg, AR
Sister, Charlene Holt of Bono, AR
Jimmy is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Jimmy Ray Mayville.
