Burma Fay Hinson, born May 6, 1942, of Arab went home on November 30, 2024, at age 82, to be with husband Robert Hinson who preceded her in death. Her wishes were to be cremated and not have a formal service. Her ashes will be placed next to Bob at the Brashiers Chapel cemetery. Fay was also preceded in death by her parents Clarence Green and Willene Maze Coker. She is survived by her sons Michael Ray Bowman (Rhonda Hurst), Charles “Eddie” Bowman (Lynne Tomlin); grandchildren Kristina Cater, Charles Bowman Jr, Ray “Wil” Bowman (Mallorie Roberts), Jeremy Bowman, Joel Bowman, CJ Bowman; great-grandchildren Ethan Cater, Tristin Cater, Sturgill Ray Bowman. After retiring from the Arab Wal-Mart, she enjoyed working around the family farm. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
