Jimmy Ray Davis In loving memory of Jimmy Ray Davis.

Jimmy Ray Davis, a cherished husband, father and pawpaw passed away on January 7, 2025. Born on January 25, 1952 in Jasper. Jimmy was husband to Glenda Jean Davis for 52 years sharing a journey filled with love, laughter, hunting, and fishing.Together they nurtured a family that became their pride and joy.

Jimmy was a devoted father to Robby, Terrill and Stefanie always present, teaching them the values of integrity, hard work and kindness. His guidance was a beacon in their lives, shaping them into the individuals they are today.

Known affectionately as “Pawpaw” by his grandchildren, he was a master of the woods and the water. Having spent countless hours tracking deer and fishing while teaching the art of hunting to his family. His love for the outdoors was not just a hobby but a way to connect with nature and share lessons of patience with his loved ones.

He leaves behind his beloved Wife-Glenda Jean Davis; his Children-Robby Davis (Amanda), Terrill Davis (Paige) and Stefanie Jackson (Anthony).  His precious Grandchildren-Bradley Davis (Hailey), Deborah Davis Meeks (Tristan), Mason Frost, Austin Jones (Anna Grace), Angel Jones, Emily Batchelor (Jaden), Austin Davis, Jakob Davis (Tabitha), Dezarae Davis, Betty Turner, Annie Bowden, Cynthia Pack, Abigail Jackson, Abram Jackson and Atlas Jackson; Nine Great Grandchildren; Brother-Odis Holcomb (Sylvia); Sister-Carolyn Fisher (Gary) and his precious dogs-Jodie and Ginger.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents-Manley and Viver Mae Kilgore; Mother-Mae Davis; Brothers-Mitchell and Travis; Sisters-Jean and Judy. His horse Trigger.

The service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Collins-Burke funeral home in Jasper Alabama.
