Mr. Jimmy Doyle Wynn, age 84, of Crow Mountain, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Huntsville Hospice Family Care with his children by his side.
Mr. Wynn is survived by his wife of 10 years, Glenda Wynn; sons, Greg Wynn of Stevenson, Al., and Chris (Stephanie) Wynn of Skyline, Al.; daughters, Tracie Bynum and Cynthia (Stephen) Congo of Crow Mountain; grandchildren, his Pride and joy, Sally Wynn, Dallas (Candace) Wynn, Martin (Leigh Ann) Bynum, Conner Bynum, Dawson (Bailey) Wynn, and Madison Congo; great grandchildren, Chloe Bright, Delilah, Forrest and Fletcher Wynn, and Levi Bynum; honorary grandson, Orkun (Tara) Ozekin; nephew, Michael (Laura) Wynn; and many Johnson nieces and nephews; and long term friend, Billy Fred Rodgers.
Mr. Wynn was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Jewel Wynn; son-in-law, Gary Bynum; mother, Lucy Willis Wynn; father, Zachery Wynn; brothers, Tom Wynn, and Dean (Louise) Wynn.
Mr. Wynn retired from Revere/Scottsboro Aluminum.
Mr. Wynn will forever be remembered for his quick wit, friendly personality, and faithfulness. He was dedicated, believed in a good day’s work and providing for his family. He was a jack of all trades, helping establish his children. He was supporter of family, friends, and community. His presence will be missed, but his legacy lives on.
The family will receive friend on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Austell Cemetery.
