Dimple Burks Clark, age 94 of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on January 5, 1932, to the late Riley “Rabbit” Jackson and Fannie Zelma (Branch) Burks. Dimple was employed as a seamstress at Decherd-Franklin, Lanier, and American Seating until her retirement. After retirement, she helped out at C and D Appliance when she was able. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening and sewing, as well as traveling all over the United States. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. A devoted Christian, she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Clark; son, Danny Clark; granddaughter, Regina Clark Peacock; siblings, James Burks, Jack Burks, Annie Burks, and Ida Hill. Dimple is survived by her loving children, Bobby (Jan) Clark, Eddie (Pat) Clark, Thomas (Deena) Clark, Kenneth Clark, and Rebecca Clark Kirby; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brother, David Burks; sister-in-law, Marion Burks; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, March 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Ray Bradford and Bro. Eric Bradford officiating. Interment will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery.
