Funeral service for Jimmy Dale Hazel, 61, will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Ammons, Bro. Gary Orr and Bro. James Wray officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Hazel died on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at his residence. He was born December 23, 1960, in Lawrence County, to Ruben Hazel and Mary Ann South Hazel.
Jimmy loved his trucking career, “Eightball” was his handle. He dearly loved his grandkids and his daughters and enjoyed traveling, Disney Trips with his family and his Antique T-Bucket Car. Jimmy always loved telling a good joke and making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Penny Smallwood Hazel, whom he truly adored and has missed her everyday since her death. Also preceding him in death were his parents and a brother: Raymond Hazel.
