Jimmy Allen Tucker, 77, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at his home in Fulton. He was born March 22, 1947 to the late Morris Tucker and the late Cloaciel Johnson Tucker. He was a 20 year cancer survivor. He worked at Mueller Brass for 30 + years and made many lifelong friends from there. He was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Church of Christ where he served as Elder and Deacon. He enjoyed being outdoors and riding on his tractor when he could get away from Barbara and against her will. When he was able he loved spending time with family and friends. Jimmy loved to go camping, fishing, and working in his garden and woodshop. Jimmy’s commitment was unwavering to his Lord and church family and was of great importance to extend love and show it to his family.
Servicew will be 1:00 pm on Tuesday January 7, 2025, at Senter Funeral Directors with Ministers Haston Handley and Mark Neaves officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 on Monday January 6, 2025, at Senter Funeral Directors. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Barbara Tucker; twin daughters: Kristy (Jason) Franks and Misty (Lee) Robinson; granddaughter, Brittni (Houston) Orr; grandson, Jay Allen (Autum) Franks; great-granddaughter, Rosemary Orr; great-grandson, Tucker Allen Franks; sister, Willa Dean Gibson all of Fulton.
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Dan M. Gibson
Pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of Pine Grove Church of Christ.
