Mr. Jimmie W. Stafford Jimmie W. Stafford passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday morning. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kathy Stafford; his siblings Larry Stafford, JR. Stafford (Pam), and Carolyn Jackson (Timmy) his children, Jimmie Stafford (Lorri), Adrian Stafford (Wanda), Dennis Stafford, and Jodie Tinin (Payton); three grandchildren, Star Mayo (Jason), William Stafford (Kalista), and Magnolia Tinin; and five great-grandchildren, Luna Mayo, Athena Mayo, Aurora Mayo, Austin Stafford, and Kaysen Stafford. Jimmie was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was unwavering in his love for his family, often calling them his “pride and joy.” He was a tried-and-true Tennessee Volunteers fan and had a lifelong love for Dr. Pepper. He could often be found gazing up at the sky, searching for what he lovingly called his “cousins” — the aliens , always keeping those around him entertained. He loved his dog Milo dearly, wherever he went, Milo wasn’t far behind. Jimmie will be remembered as the goofiest man with the biggest heart. He had a gift for storytelling, sharing tales from his past that could captivate a room and leave everyone laughing. More than anything, he took great pride in caring for his family and making sure everyone around him felt loved, protected, and provided for.
