Jimmie Lou Lollar Jarrell, 72, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born January 24, 1943, in Itawamba County to Ed and Pearl Johnson Lollar. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Fulton. She was a homemaker and retired from the Itawamba Community College cafeteria in May 2014 after 25 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers and loved spending time with her grandchildren, who all lovingly referred to her as LuLu.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday, March 19, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Randy Hargett, Bro. Bill Adams, and Bro. Castor Buse officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mylinda Kay Franks of Saltillo, Michelle Clouse (Craig) of Mantachie, and Melissa Scott (Shane) of New Albany; two brothers, Paul Lollar (Inez) and Lindon Lollar (Peggy), both of Mantachie; one sister, Sue Lindsey (Jimmy) of Mantachie; and six grandchildren, Mallory Clouse, Emilee Clouse, Braden Scott, Ethan Scott, Jonathan Scott, and Sydney Katherine Scott.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p. m. today at the funeral home.
