Jewell George, age 87 of Boaz passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at her home.
Her funeral service was 3 p.m. Friday, July 17 2026 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. She was laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery. Sister Linnie Jo Carrol officiated her service and pallbearers were Delane Hornbuckle, Ricky Phillips, Bryan Hill, Jeremy George, Jonathon Stephens and Troy Garrison.
She is survived by her children; Susan Morris (Steve), Robert George (Penny) and Brandy Hornbuckle (Delane), grandchildren; Delila Garrison (Troy), Beth Stephens (Jonathon), Jeremy George (Heather), Stephanie Hill (Bryan) and Ricky Phillips and a host of great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Jerry George, daughter; Shirley George Hoffman and her aunt; Nora Quick.
Arrangements were entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
