Jewell Brunice Hargett, 85, of Belgreen, Alabama, passed away, Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Russellville Health Care in Russellville. A Franklin County native, she was a faithful member of Belgreen Church of Christ.
Visitation for Mrs. Hargett will be Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at New Friendship Cemetery in Belgreen. Officiating will be Jarred McCrary and Jackie Richardson.
Mrs. Hargett is survived by her children: Cheryl Hargett Foster, Gary (Judy) Hargett, and Jeff (Annette) Hargett. Siblings who survive her include sisters: Oleta Stranahan and Betty Berrier, and two grandchildren, Spencer Hargett and Darby Hargett. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cosey Hargett; son, Terry Hargett; parents, John and Ora Palmer Harmon; a sister, Ann Freeman and brothers, Johnny and Bobby Harmon.
