Jewel Miller, 81, of Double Springs, Alabama entered into rest on Friday, May 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Miller was born on October 2, 1939 in Double Springs, Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Mrs. Miller will lie in state on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at New Hope Church at Mt. Ebron in Double Springs where services will be held at 1:00pm. Brother T.J. Millican will be officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Jewel is survived by her children, Estella Vickery Taylor, Terry Lee Vickery, Melissa Moore, Teresa Kay “Katie” Buckner, Karen Renea Brown; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Lorene Cagle, Ann McLain; brother, James Garrison; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Pearline Bolling Garrison; brothers, S.D. Carpenter, Gilbert Garrison, Tommy Garrison, Edward M. Garrison; and a sister, Berta Dean Garrison.
