Jesse Allen Albert passed on at the young age of 30. He was a 2011 graduate of Northshore High School in Slidell, Louisiana. A military veteran, Jesse served six years in the United States Navy, attached to VFA 147 in LeMoore, California, where he completed a Middle Eastern deployment aboard the USS Nimitz. He enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews and being the “fun uncle.” Jesse was an avid reader of history and was known for his endless knowledge and witty comebacks. He also enjoyed being on the lake and boating with family. Jesse is survived by his grandmother, Wilma VanHoose; mother, Donna Palumbo and stepfather, Scott Palumbo; father, Allen J. Albert and stepmother, Jessica Albert; siblings, Alyssa Laughlin (Nick), Aubrey Cirillo (Anthony), and Alyssa Ramirez; nieces and nephews, Rori and Remi Laughlin, and Brayden and Dominic Cirillo; special aunt and uncle, Susan and Gary Lunsford; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him very much. A memorial gathering will be held from 11am-1pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Tunnels to Towers.
