Bettie Sue “Susie” Pfister, age 73 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on September 5, 1949, to the late Andrew Jackson “A.J.” and Ruby Clara (Wilkinson) Sells. A dedicated homemaker, Susie was a faithful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished the time spent with her beloved family. She enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting Hallmark Christmas ornaments, and traveling the world with her husband and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Ann Bell. Susie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty-three years, Louis “Lou” Pfister; son, Lou (Jenny) Pfister; daughters, Laurie (Robert) Baggett, and Amanda (Ben) McBroom; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Nick) Jackson, Ethan Pfister, Caroline Pfister, Samantha Pfister, Jesse Brandon, Jenna (Ryan) McBee, A.J. Brandon, Madison Baggett, Lily McBroom, Molly McBroom, and Ruby McBroom; and great-grandchildren, J.B. and Haiden Brandon, and Maggie Lou Jackson. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with her son, Lou Pfister, officiating. Interment will follow at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery with Lou Pfister, Ethan Pfister, Nick Jackson, Robert Baggett, Ben McBroom, Dave Wolfe, Jerry Watkins, and Jerry Ingle serving as pallbearers.
