Mr. Jerry W. Edwards, 66, died Friday, July 8, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born November 11, 1949 to William T. and Clara E. Edwards. He was married to Debra K. Addington on February 14, 1980 and they shared 32 years before her death April 29, 2012. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. He worked at Lowe’s for many years before retiring. Jerry was a long-time member of Traceland Baptist Church in Verona.
A private service, celebrating his life was on Sunday, July 10, 2016, at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Phil Hathcock officiating. He was buried next to his wife, Debra, in Verona City Cemetery.
