Jerry Trice Webb was a man of all seasons who approached life with indomitable hope, spiritual assurance and with the joy and countenance of a solid citizen, a hard worker, a great husband, father, grandfather and an amazing agricultural pilot. Jerry Webb took the most important flight of his life on Saturday evening, Sept. 7, 2024 transforming from this life to eternal life from Sanctuary Hospice House. He was 78 years old. Jerry was born on September 10, 1945 into a pioneer Lee County family , the son of the late John Trice Webb and Vance Witt Webb. Jerry exemplified himself as a man of courage, strength, family and service to God and humanity. He graduated from Tupelo High School in 1963. He married the love of his life, Bonnie Roper on Aug. 9, 1968, the only beau she ever had. To this union was born two children, Trice and Tracey. Three grandchildren and a brother, Kenneth, survive as well.
A Life Celebration for Jerry will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 from the Sadie M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with private burial to follow in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be from Noon-service time Wed. only.
