Jerry Ray Eaton, age 74, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015.
Visitation was Thursday, Jan. 8, 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be today, 1 p.m., in the funeral home chapel with Brother Matt Heupel officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Mr. Eaton worked as a security guard and custodian for various businesses in the area.
Pallbearers will be Chandler Baskins, Matthew Meyers, Matt Newbern, Bill McClelland, Craig Wallace, and Steve Stutts.
Mr. Eaton was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Eaton; children, Jerry Eaton Jr., Angela (Matthew) Meyers, and Bobby (Tammy) Eaton; siblings, Eva and Jimmy; grandchildren, Adam (Kristina) Eaton, Whitney (Will) Shepherd, Geoff and Aaron Eaton, Chastity (Matt) Newbern, Chandler (Priscilla) Baskins, Chailey Baskins, and Lundon and Nick Meyers; and several great-grandchildren.
