Jerry Dean Wilson, 81, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
Jerry spent a majority of his life in the Ardmore community where he was a member of Stateline Baptist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as watching Alabama football.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Wilson and Ruby Jones Wilson, two brothers, Ray Wilson and Bobby Wilson, as well as one sister, Gail Church.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Wilson, one son, Chad (Cindy) Wilson, two daughters, Michelle Lee and Sherry Lynn Wilson, four grandchildren: Tyler (Valerie) Wilson, Alyssa Holt, Frederick Turner, and Heaven Turner, as well as one great grandchild, Sophia Wilson.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Wilson will take place at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, with service time beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
