Donald Ray Tunstill, 73, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away at the Elk River Health and Nursing Center on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Donald spent 40 years in the Ardmore community, and he was of the Christian faith. He loved hunting and being outdoors, taking care of his garden, napping, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Charles David Tunstill and Laura Elizabeth Tunstill.
Donald is survived by Lila Tunstill, three sons: Brian (Angela) Tunstill, Roger (Angela) Tunstill, and Luke (Haley) Tunstill, one daughter, Anna (Eric) Burke, one brother, Paul (Myra) Tunstill, one sister, Pamela (Paul) Lyle, as well as five grandchildren: Hunter Tunstill, Bo Burke, Caroline Tunstill, Levi Burke, and Charlotte Tunstill.
A visitation for Mr. Tunstill will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service is scheduled for the following day, Friday, January 30, 2026, again at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, with service time beginning at 1:00 PM. Bro. Tony Boyles will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Gatlin Cemetery.
