Jerry A. Ballard, Jr., 53, passed away Saturday at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survivors include his life partner of 32 years, Charles Baldwin and his loyal Pomeranian, Marquita; mother, Elizabeth Ballard; sisters, Regina Free and Jackie Osborn and husband, Charles; nephews, Donald Free Jr. and Jared Osborn; and niece, Kati Osborn.
There will be a celebration of life on Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Huntsville United Church, 7906 Whitesburg Drive, 35802.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Jerry Ballard Memorial account at any branch of RFCU. The account is setup to assist the family with medical expenses and funeral arrangements.
