Jennifer Lyn Minor, age 43, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 16, from noon-2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Roger Houston officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.
Jennifer was born Jan. 30, 1971, to Stanley “Skeet” and Betty Nelson Minor. She served as a foster parent to many children.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bobby G. Nelson, and paternal grandparents, Raymond Charlie and Dorothy Ray Minor, uncle, Gregory Minor, cousin, Gregory Eli Barnes, and very special friend, Michelle Myhan.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Katie Nicole and Mollie Elizabeth Brown; grandparents, Willena Nelson White and Herschel; uncles, Mike (Genice) Nelson and Darryl (Melanie) Nelson; aunts, Carol Nelson (Dennis) Morgan, Donna Minor Balentine, and Deborah Minor Barnes; and numerous loving cousins.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to William Porter Wright Foundation or the Central Volunteer Fire Department.
