Mrs. Evelyn F. Keenum, 89, of Florence, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at ECM Hospital. She was a charter member of Edgemont United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at Edgemont United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Chris Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Keenum was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Elbert Wallace, husband of 62 years, Raymond Keenum, and brother, James Morgan.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Cosgrove (John F.), of Ooltewah, Tennessee; son, Stan Keenum (Susie), and grandsons, Henson Keenum and Will Keenum, all of Huntsville; special niece, Bonnie Cherry; and special friend, Burt Rieff.
Special thanks to Dr. Lyman Mitchell, the staff at Columbia Cottage and to her niece, Bonnie Cherry, for her devotion and companionship. Also, special thanks to her friend Burt Rieff for his devoted attention over the years.
