Jennie Mae Solomon Rushing, 83, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at her residence. She was born May 15, 1930 in Iuka, Ms. and was retired from Tishomingo State Park. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Tishomingo, Ms.

Services will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Highland Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Daily and Bro. Bill Burcham officiating. Burial will be in Tishomingo Cemetery, Tishomingo, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are her husband of 65 years – Tulon Rushing, Dennis, Ms.; two daughters – Karen Reed, Dennis, Ms. and Paula Rushing (Richard Thompson) Tishomingo, Ms.; four grandchildren – Kerry & Amy Loveless, Normal, Il., Dyon & Melissa Reed,  England, Ar., Melanie & Jimmy Arnold, Tishomingo, Ms. and Sandy& Ronnie Donahue, Booneville, Ms.; two step-grandchildren – Valerie & Steve Wheeler, Golconda, Il. and Tara and Brady Siress, Benton, Ky.; ten great-grandchildren – Jordan & Ashley Arnold, Okinawa, Japan, Payton Arnold, Tishomingo, Ms., Dalton & Conner Donahue, Booneville, Ms., Jody & Daniel Rittenhouse and Kara & Todd Loveless, all of Normal, Il. and Kendahl Reed;  five step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; a lifelong friend – Earline Browning and special friend – Gary Ramsey, Zachary, La.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Milton Solomon and Maggie Florence Page Solomon, two brothers, Lamar & Leon Solomon and an infant sister.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Arnold, Ronnie Donahue, Richard Thompson, Payton Arnold, Kerry Loveless and Dyon Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Browning, Gary Ramsey, James Browning, David Browning, Mike Butler, Dalton Donahue and Conner Donahue.

Visitation will be 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at Highland Baptist Church
