Jeffrey “Jeff” Hankins, age 70, of Brilliant, AL, formerly of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at his residence. Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 4:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends prior to the services from 3:00pm until 4:00pm.
Jeff was born on December 3, 1955 in Vernon, AL to the late John Tol Hankins and the late Margie Ann Green Hankins. He attended Sulligent High School. Jeff worked at Vernon Milling for 13 years and previously worked in the oil fields and numerous medical facilities in Colorado. He loved taking care of stray dogs and spending time with his family. Jeff also enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs play and was known to also be an avid Alabama fan and a devoted Trump fan. He had a very loving and bright personality and caring heart that will forever be missed by all those who loved and knew him.
