Jeffrey Bryan Matthews, age 49 of Cowan, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was born in Orange, Texas on December 29, 1972. Jeffrey was employed as a truck driver and enjoyed the time spent behind the wheel. He was an avid Alabama Football fan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Matthews. Jeffrey is survived by his loving mother, Teresa Ricketts Matthews; father, Phillip Matthews; children, Maryse (Logan) Phillips of Cowan, Jeffrey (Kelsie) Matthews Jr of Indiana, Timmy (Maleia) Matthews of Winchester, Jayselynn Matthews of Winchester, and Allie Matthews of Winchester: brother, Dave Matthews of Atlanta; and sisters, Holly Matthews and Destiny Matthews both of Kentucky.
