Jeffery Lynn Kelso, 53, San Antonio, Texas, passed away March 6, 2014, after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Mr. Kelso was born in Decatur. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed by Lockheed Martin at Kelly Aviation Center in San Antonio, Texas, where he was senior quality assurance supplier administrator for nearly 24 years.
Mr. Kelso was preceded in death by his father, Hoyt Kelso.
He is survived by his wife, Mari MacAskill; his mother, Virginia Kelso of Decatur; one sister, Patricia Kelso of Decatur; three brothers, Johnny Kelso and wife, Kathy, of Texas, David Kelso and wife, Connie, of San Antonio, Richard Kelso and wife, Jaye, of Hartselle; six nieces, two nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kelso’s memorial service was March 14, 2014, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
